Zona takes a glance at Lilia, and ignores her. She did not like repeating herself when someone else was already talking. So she draws her attention back to Yasuda and the female he started talking to.

“No.” Star replies sharply, trying to see if her knee is healed enough to walk on. “It was dislocated, so it’s going to be a minute. If you can’t wait, then leave, because you’d probably think it’d be fitting.”

Frost scoffed. "Or you can use hand-to-hand combat against the empousa. Shouldn't be that hard." She moved to grab her cake and bumped into someone. About to apologize, Frost turned around only to be face-to-face with the same waitress from before. The female, whose name tag read Tiffany, proceeded to ignore Frost who was staring at her with wide eyes. Instead, she looked at Lance, having the same sickly-sweet smile from before on her face. "I did warn you, sweetheart."

Reagan grit his teeth and blew air out his now. “As mch as you’d like to see that happen, I’m sure, I’m not gonna do it. I’m not like /you/,” he spat.

Lance’s eyes went wide, as did his hands, palms facing outward. “Frost,” he said quietly. “Blitz. And watch out.” He stared down the empousa before he raised his hands up, feeling them grow warm.

Frost rolled her eyes, grumbling something about not being helpless, but snatched the bag of food and ran out the door. She called for Blitz, hoping that Lance could handle the empousa by himself for now. // The empousa looked at him unimpressed, not shapeshifting to her true form just yet. "What, are you trying to play pattycake? That's cute and all, but what I really wanted was a drink." She batted her eyelashes in mock innocence, using charmspeak heavily on her next words. "You sure I can't have just a tiny bit of blood~?"

Star looks over her shoulder, her eyes small red slits. Without a word she ungracefully gets to her feet and hops over to the pegasus and climbs on.

Lance grit his teeth. “Just because I mock-believe everyone wants me doesn’t mean I want everyone,” he struggled to resist the charmspeak as his hands grew bright and he flashed the empousa.

Reagan sighed. “Thank you.” He nudged the side of the pegasus, who trudged forward a few steps before taking off.

Star stiffly wraps her arms around his waist, not because she wants to, but because she doesn’t want to fall off.

The empousa shrieked, stumbling backwards and clutching her eyes. // Frost walked calmly into the bakery again, taking out her Kung Fu fans. "You didn't kill it." She said, more as a statement than a question.

"By the way, did you guys hear that? It sounded kinda awful." Lilia pointed in the direction of a shrieking noise. "Ya know, it would be fun if we could fight something." Lilia munched on a cookie.

Lance sighed as he walked closer to the empousa. "Yeah, no shit. I don't have any weapons, so can you just...?" He waved his hand dismissively in the direction of the empousa.

Reagan slowly leaned back into her, not because he wanted to, but because it was the only way he could sleep without falling off of the pegasus.

Frost sighed, grimacing as she approached the empousa. "Sorry." She said quietly, before slashing at the monster which vanished into dust. "So," she turned back around to Lance, her fans having transformed back into her earrings. "We should probably head back to camp."

Lance’s jaw tensed as he looked at the pile of dust. “Yeah, it’d probably be best, before more of them come out from who-knows-where.” He waved his hand towards the door. “Lead the way, my dear.”

Tayla yawns. She hugs the jacket round her tighter, then drifts off into a dreamless sleep.

Star tries to push him foreward. “If you’re going to sleep, at least lean against his neck so we both don’t fall.” She grunts.

Frost grabbed his hand, pulling him outside to where Blitz was sitting. "At least I have my chocolate now." She commented.

"Well, I'm just gonna go since you guys are being quiet. Maybe I can crash in on something." Lilia turns around the opposite direction and whistles for Hiko. Hiko swoops in as Lilia jumps on.

Reagan grumbled as he leaned forward onto the pegasus’ neck and tried to sleep to the rhythm of him breathing.

Lance laughed at Frost’s comment, blushing as he looked at their hands. He followed her out to the massive wolf, who he pat when he got next to him. “Yeah, at least you have that,” he chuckled again.

Star scowls as she watches him sleep. Her leg doesn’t hurt as bad as it did before, but it still has a moderate throbbing ache. For a brief moment the thought of pushing him off the pegasus flickers through her thoughts. No one would find him, and it would be dificult to prove it wasn’t an accident even if they could figure out where he is. Star grimaces, cringing at the thought and shakes her head to dismiss it.

“Donyou think he’s still alive, wherever the fuck he is?” Reagan asked Star quietly.

Star pinches her lips together and mumbles out an equally quiet “yes”.

Hiko looks up at Lilia as they fly. "I called you because I ran out of cookies. Plus, I ran out of ingredients at the Athena cabin." Lilia looks down at a satchel she has as Hiko talks to her. "I guess I'll have to take my pills until I can somehow get more stuff."

Frost let go of his hand, jumping onto Blitz's back again. She smiled at Lance. "Thanks for buying me that, by the way."

Reagan looked out over the clouds past the pegasus' head. "I do too," he whispered.

Lance smiled and nodded once, slowly, as he clambered onto Blitz as well. He slowly wrapped his arms around Frost's midsection. "Good to go," he said from behind her head.
