"Well, I mean, it's not like we've got any superpowers," Joshua laughed. "My guys might not fare as well in that one. Though..." A quizzical expression went over his face as he thought aloud. "Some of my guys, me included, have this innate ability to get people pissed the hell off. Not, like, angry. But... in the mood to fight."

Estelle nods. “Well, I wasn’t meaning just superpowers. You know, we have our own personality, and own sets of skills. Some of us are good at building even though we’re not a daughter or son of Athena and Hephaestus. Plus, if there were to be competition, it doesn’t have to be just one cabin teaming up with each other. And I bet you have more skills other than getting others in the mood for fighting. I mean, this is the Ares Cabin! You guys know war. You guys can probably beat the Athena’s Cabin knowledge, who knows?”

Joshua gave a wry smile at her last few remarks. "You trying to get me riled up?"

[Madescent]

"Maybe," Estelle grins freely. "I'm just trying to show you that we all have more skills than we think. And plus, you really are 99.99% intelligent."

Joshua gave a slight laugh, followed by a smile. "Totally, we've got more skills than we think. For example, I'm actually a secret agent. I'm a jack of all trades, and a master of all of them too."

Estelle laughs, still grinning. "You wouldn't tell me if you weren't joking, right?" She asks, making sure.

Joshua said nothing, giving a wink and a devilish smile.

[Madescent]

Estelle raises a brow. “Something tells me you’re up to something, or you really were telling the truth. Or were just joking. I can’t decide.”

"I'm just saying words. S'up to you to understand 'em." Joshua chuckled. Obviously he wasn't a secret agent because why the fuck.

“Well then, I’ll try my best to understand ‘em.” Estelle copied his motion of words teasingly, almost mocking him in a playful way. She decided at that moment that he was just joking from before, but she finally understood the meaning. Well, she did before, but yeah.

Joshua delivered a playful kick to the leg of her chair. "Quit mocking me, child." He said with a laugh. "I'm not afraid to take this out back."

Estelle laughs, before raising a brow as if challenging him. “Sureee you are.” She continues to mock him again, frivolously.

Joshua saw what she was trying to do. "I'm not like my brothers, I got an off switch." He grinned. He was too dangerous not to be able to keep a cool temper. "Even if you're a child of Mr. Hot Stuff himself."

Estelle feels her cheeks immediately redden. After that, she realizes what he was meaning. Of him bringing up her Father.. Well it was a touchy subject considering she didn’t really like him for who he was, sometimes forcing love. But she didn’t really want to break the mood either, so she states, “Well, I haven’t exactly met your brothers. The only son of Ares that I’ve really talked to is obviously you, so I’m not sure what to think about that. Maybe your brothers have more of an off switch than you, or less. Depends.”

Joshua noticed the blush, gave another ever-so-slight wink, and continued. "They're hot tempered. They see every situation as an opportunity to fight. I try to teach 'em, but it doesn't always go so well. Sometimes I have to put them in check."

“Ah,” Estelle nods, before feeling tempted to tease him once again. “Maybe I’ll have to see them for myself. Maybe they’ll actually be ‘in check’ if a female is around, considering you were indirectly calling that I was hot earlier, since my Dad is “Mr. Hot Stuff.””

"That's what you gathered from that?" Joshua chuckled, crossing his arms. "I am a strict follower of the two-year rule."

“Not all what I gathered.” Estelle says while raising a brow at him in question, “I also gathered that you had kept winking at me. Why did you do that? Is it because you wanted to.. Um.. Be a rebel for a second... For your “two-year rule?””

Joshua kept his cool. Not an arduous task for him. "A wink doesn't always have to be a romantic gesture. It can mean a lot of things, honestly. Why, is that what you were getting at?"

“Not totally, but I want to hear your reasoning behind it. Why were you winking? Yeah, I realize it’s not always romantic, but you. I want to hear your direct reasoning.” Estelle explains.

Joshua clasped his hands together, then spread them apart in an exasperated manner. "There's no excuse for a winning personality." He grinned. "Sorry hun."

Estelle rolls her eyes while shaking her head. She sighs, but finds a way to tease him again, “Well.” She begins, stating. “Apology not accepted,” she teases. “At least until you tell me exactly what your “winning personality” is, because I don't really have a clue."
